Muntasir, M.A. (TESOL), is a junior lecturer in the English Education Department at Universitas Syiah Kuala, Aceh, Indonesia. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English education from UIN Ar-Raniry and later pursued a Master of Arts in TESOL at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, as a recipient of the prestigious NZAS scholarship. His teaching focuses on TESOL, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and English proficiency tests such as IELTS. He is dedicated to helping students develop their English skills and supporting their academic and professional growth.
With a background in teaching and translation, Muntasir is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and fostering a supportive classroom environment. His international education has provided him with valuable insights into cross-cultural teaching practices, which he integrates into his work to ensure students receive a well-rounded education. His experiences working and training with international institutions and mentoring teachers have shaped his classroom teaching into fun and collaborative practices.
