The second session of the FEco (Fun English Conversation) activity, hosted by Ms. Marisa Yoestara and the English Students Association (ESA), took place yesterday at the English Language Laboratory, English Education Department, FKIP.

This engaging weekly event, designed to enhance students’ conversational skills and cultural awareness, brought together over 30 enthusiastic participants from FKIP. Adding to the excitement, the session welcomed international guests, enriching the discussions with diverse perspectives.

The primary focus of the conversation was culture and its differences, sparking lively debates and insightful exchanges. Participants expressed their enthusiasm, noting how the activity not only helped improve their English but also broadened their understanding of global cultures.

“The session was both fun and eye-opening,” said one participant. “It’s great to learn about cultural differences directly from people from different countries.”

With its interactive format and valuable discussions, FEco continues to grow in popularity. The next session is scheduled for Thursday next week, promising another exciting opportunity for students to engage, learn, and connect.
