On Thursday, April 17, 2025, the English Students Association (ESA) proudly held its inauguration ceremony to mark the official handover to the newly appointed board members. The event, which took place at the Auditorium, FKIP USK, was filled with excitement, reflection, and renewed spirit for student leadership and collaboration.
The ceremony was attended by key figures of the department, including the Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Asnawi, S.Pd., M.Ed., the Program Coordinator, Dr. Dian Fajrina, S.Pd., M.Ed., and the ESA Advisor, Muntasir, M.A. TESOL. Their presence showed strong support for student governance and highlighted the department’s commitment to nurturing leadership within the academic community.
In her speech, Dr. Dian Fajrina emphasized the importance of communication and synergy among all elements of the campus. She encouraged the new board to build collaborative relationships that will lead to impactful and meaningful student activities, aligned with academic values and broader institutional goals.
The newly appointed ESA President, Muhammad Nazar, also delivered his first official address, stating his commitment to creating a cohesive, inclusive, and productive organizational environment. He expressed optimism about ESA’s future and called on fellow board members and students to work together in shaping ESA into an even more vibrant and collaborative platform for English Education students.
The department also extended heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing board for their dedication and service during the past term. Their contributions have laid a strong foundation for the new leadership to build upon.
